It has been a while since my last post, hopefully that is going to get better in about 6 weeks when I finally make a run for it and have this adventure.
Not a whole lot of excitement has happened since Jeff decided to break down a few weeks back. I basically have been working, climbing, or sleeping.
Work for the last two weeks has been nothing but IU commencement and other end of year celebrations. The larges one of which is the above beast. That my friends is the forty foot tall roof that we erected in the end zone of the football field. I just hope the giant structure helps the football players finally find the end zone… at any rate the entire process of putting that thing up takes about a week and a half, between the two days of lying the floor, two days of building on the ground, day of flying it, day of hanging the lights and sound, days of touch ups, not to mention the 20 plus trucks that it all came in on (I unloaded 15 of them)… I am officially sore and sunburnt. That being said I do appreciate having a forty foot tall jungle gym at my disposal.
Speaking of climbing… I have been trying to get into shape to do a lot of climbing while on the trip this summer and the new facility that Hoosier Heights just moved into is a great way to get myself across the finish line…
Can I just leave for this trip already?
